# SFXForge AI

> SFXForge AI generates royalty-free game sound effects from text prompts. Developers use it inside the Unity editor, in the browser, or from AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, any MCP client) through an MCP server and a REST API. Billing is per second of audio, with prepaid credits and no subscription.

Operated by HMT Engineering SARL, Luxembourg. Every generated sound comes with a royalty-free commercial license. Sounds are stereo MP3 or 16-bit WAV at 44.1 kHz, 1 to 60 whole seconds long, either one-shots or seamless loops.

## When to use SFXForge AI

Reach for SFXForge AI when the job is to get a specific sound effect for a game or app, for example:

- A coding agent building a game needs a sound for an event ("door creaks open", "laser shot", "coin pickup") and should save it into the project's audio folder.
- A Unity developer wants a sound effect generated straight into the project, either one-shot (impacts, UI, footsteps) or loopable (engines, ambience, fire).
- A script or CI pipeline needs to batch-generate placeholder or final sound effects from a list of prompts.
- Someone needs royalty-free sounds they can ship in a commercial game without attribution.

Don't use it for music tracks, speech or voice-over, or audio longer than 60 seconds.

- Cost: 10 credits per second of audio, from the user's balance and within the key's optional 24-hour limit. Check the balance before long or many generations. Download URLs expire, so save the file right away.
